I have spent my life on the coast, and all my artwork has its roots in my love of the sea. Natural and reclaimed materials often feature in my interactive installations, mixed-media sculpture, painting, and ceramics. My work explores my heritage of connections across oceans, as a mixed-race Chinese-American who relocated from Kauai to Forest Grove, Oregon in 2014, while also sustaining a four-generation connection to Downeast Maine.
